US Patent Issued to Osato International on June 10 for "Method of treating type 2 diabetic patients" (Japanese, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,822, issued on June 10, was assigned to Osato International Inc. (Gifu, Japan).

"Method of treating type 2 diabetic patients" was invented by Yukiyasu Hayashi (Gifu, Japan) and Chandan K. Sen (Columbus, Ohio).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides a method of promoting respiratory burst in a subject with type 2 diabetic, comprising orally administering an effective amount of fermented papaya preparation (FFP) with carbohydrate, protein lipid, potassium, and water."
