ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,372,515, issued on July 29, was assigned to Organovo Inc. (San Diego).
"Engineered tissues for in vitro research uses, arrays thereof, and methods of making the same" was invented by Keith Murphy (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.), Chirag Khatiwala (San Diego), Scott Dorfman (San Diego), Benjamin Shepherd (San Diego), Sharon Presnell (San Diego) and Justin Robbins (La Jolla, Calif.).
