ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,509,427, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Oregon Health & Science University (Portland, Ore.) and The United States Government as Represented by the Department of Veterans Affairs (Washington).
