ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,360,808, issued on July 15, was assigned to Oracle International Corp. (Redwood Shores, Calif.).

"Selecting a node of a work group for executing a target transaction of another work group to execute skippable steps prior to a predicted interruption" was invented by Naveen Jafer Nizar (Chennai, India), Kyasaram Vishwa Prasad (Hyderabad, India), Guru Selvaraj (Hyderabad, India) and Srinivasan Sankaranarayanan (Foster City, Calif.).
