ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,982, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to OPKO BIOLOGISTICS LTD. (Kiryat Gat, Israel).
"Methods of producing long acting CTP-modified growth hormone polypeptides" was invented by Oren Hershkovitz (Shikmim, Israel) and Laura Moschcovich (Givat Shmuel, Israel).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing a recombinant human growth hormone (h GH) modified by a CTP extension in a mammalian cells culture system."
The patent was filed on Dec. 10, 2015, under Application No. 15/533,910.
