ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,491,304, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to OncoClear Inc. (Los Angeles).
"Treating circulating cell clusters" was invented by Mark A. Rosenberg (Boca Raton, Fla.) and James W. Hill (Las Vegas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Circulating cell clusters found in subjects with cancer, autoimmune conditions, infections, or other diseases, can be trapped or disrupted by filtering them with an intra- or extracorporeal device and, in some cases, exposing them to a substance, such as enzyme, that reduces intercellular adhesion."
The patent was filed on Aug. 7, 2024, under Application No. 18/797,358.
