ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,251,081, issued on March 18, was assigned to OmniVision Technologies Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Endoscope tip assembly using truncated trapezoid cavity interposer to allow coplanar camera and LEDs in small-diameter endoscopes" was invented by Teng-Sheng Chen (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Wei-Ping Chen (New Taipei, Taiwan), Wei-Feng Lin (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and Jau-Jan Deng (Taipei, Taiwan).
