ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,379,632, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to OmniVision Technologies Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Liquid crystal on silicon device with an adaptive compensator" was invented by Wen-Kai Shih (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Ze-Yan Li (Hsinchu County, Taiwan) and Ming-Chang Yang (Hsinchu County, Taiwan).
