According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An endoscope distal end frame includes: a holder including a first through hole, the holder being a primary molding made of a colored resin; and a distal end part including a second through hole that is concentric with the first through hole, the distal end part being a secondary molding made of a transparent resin layered on the holder. The first through hole has a diameter larger than a diameter of the second through hole."
