"Four-step to two-step random access procedure" was invented by Hyoungsuk Jeon (Centreville, Va.), Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.), Hua Zhou (Vienna, Va.), Kai Xu (Great Falls, Va.), Alireza Babaei (Fairfax, Va.), Kyungmin Park (Vienna, Va.) and Ali Cagatay Cirik (Chantilly, Va.).
