ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,853, issued on June 17, was assigned to Ocular Therapeutix Inc. (Bedford, Mass.).
"Compositions and methods for treating ocular diseases" was invented by Charles D. Blizzard (Nashua, N.H.), Ankita Desai (Reading, Mass.), Arthur Driscoll (Reading, Mass.) and Michael Goldstein (Cambridge, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to the treatment of ocular diseases in a human subject. In particular, the invention relates to an intracameral administration of a sustained release biodegradable intracameral implant."
