"Free-space optical link" was invented by Qingdong Guo (San Jose, Calif.), Chunmeng Wu (Hayward, Calif.), Zhigang Zhou (San Jose, Calif.), Zining Huang (Fremont, Calif.), Qinrong Yu (Fremont, Calif.), Jiangqing Lei (Shenzhen, China), Liang Chen (Shenzhen, China) and Zhipeng Zhao (Shenzhen, China).
