ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,482,189, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Environment generation using one or more neural networks" was invented by Seung Wook Kim (Toronto), Sanja Fidler (Toronto), Jonah Philion (Oak Park, Ill.) and Antonio Torralba Barriuso (Somerville, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques are presented to generate a simulated environment. In at least one embodiment, one or more neural networks are used to generate a simulated environment based, at least in part, on stored information associated with objects within the simulated environment."
