ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,249,619, issued on March 11, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Integrated circuit with coil below and overlapping a pad" was invented by Jedrzej Wyczynski (Santa Clara, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An integrated circuit including a chip substrate having an upper isolation layer with a pad thereon and a coil located below the pad, where, in a dimension perpendicular to a surface of the chip substrate, a perimeter of the coil overlaps with a perimeter of the pad."

The patent was filed on April 25, 2022, under Application No. 17/728,542.
