ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,332,079, issued on June 17, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"High definition (HD) map content representation and distribution for autonomous vehicles" was invented by Matthew Ashman (Bellevue, Wash.), Galen Collins (Seattle) and Russell Chreptyk (Seattle).
