ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,373,689, issued on July 29, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Landmark detection using curve fitting for autonomous driving applications" was invented by Minwoo Park (Saratoga, Calif.), Yilin Yang (Santa Clara, Calif.), Xiaolin Lin (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Abhishek Bajpayee (Santa Clara, Calif.), Hae-Jong Seo (Campbell, Calif.), Eric Jonathan Yuan (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Xudong Chen (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
