ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,367,637, issued on July 22, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"System and method for image generation using jittered motion vectors" was invented by Pawel Kozlowski (Campbell, Calif.) and Maksim Aizenshtein (Sammamish, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods for improving quality of rendered images. Temporal accumulation using jittered motion vectors may be performed in intermediate passes."
The patent was filed on Aug. 28, 2020, under Application No. 17/006,548.
