US Patent Issued to Nuvalux on Oct. 21 for "Retraction device" (Texas Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,374, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Nuvalux LLC (Dallas).

"Retraction device" was invented by William Wallander (Dallas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A retraction apparatus includes a housing and a retractable cable extending from the housing. An attachment mechanism is configured to couple to a free end of the retractable cable. A tensioning mechanism is configured to restrict movement of the retractable cable."
