ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,222, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Nutrivert Inc. (Atlanta).

"Lipophilic enantiomers of desacetylglucosamine muramyl dipeptide with anti-inflammatory and growth promoting activity" was invented by Horace Disston Nalle Jr. (Atlanta) and Bernhard Kaltenboeck (Auburn, Ala.).
