US Patent Issued to Nunhems on July 8 for "Cucumber variety NUN 53063 CUP" (Dutch Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,349,643, issued on July 8, was assigned to Nunhems B.V. (Nunhem, Netherlands).

"Cucumber variety NUN 53063 CUP" was invented by Jos Suelmann (Nunhem, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct plant of variety NUN 53063 CUP is disclosed as well as seeds and plants and fruits thereof. NUN 53063 CUP is a pickling cucumber variety comprising resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum, Podosphaera xanthii, and Cucumber Mosaic Virus."
