ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,323,513, issued on June 3, was assigned to NTT Research Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
"Enhanced security for public key cryptosystems from augmented random oracles" was invented by Mark Zhandry (Princeton, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A public key cryptosystem has enhanced security based on the use of an augmented random oracle model (AROM). The system includes corresponding encryption and decryption functionality."
The patent was filed on March 30, 2023, under Application No. 18/193,562.
