ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,439,411, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to NTT DOCOMO Inc. (Tokyo).

"Terminal and radio base station" was invented by Daisuke Kurita (Tokyo) and Hiroki Harada (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A terminal receives a message of a radio resource control layer and assumes the number of repetitions per resource or format of a physical uplink control channel based on the received message."
