ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,464,531, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to NTT DOCOMO Inc. (Tokyo).

"User equipment" was invented by Shohei Yoshioka (Tokyo), Satoshi Nagata (Tokyo) and Huan Wang (Beijing).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A user equipment including: a reception unit that receives configuration information for one or more grants from a base station apparatus; and a transmission unit that, wherein the one or more grants are active, transmits a sidelink signal using a resource specified by the one or more grants."
