US Patent Issued to NSK on Aug. 19 for "Rolling bearing" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,392,373, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to NSK Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Rolling bearing" was invented by Masahide Natori (Tokyo) and Hiroki Komata (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rolling bearing contains a structure having a solid solution carbon amount in a martensitic structure after heat treatment of 0.35 mass % or more and 0.65 mass % or less and a volume ratio of spheroidized carbides having a diameter of 200 nm or more of 4.5% or less."

The patent was filed on May 27, 2022, under Application No. 18/683,986.
