ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,491,705, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to NOVA Chemicals (International) S.A. (Fribourg, Switzerland).

"Stand up pouch with recycled polyethylene" was invented by Robert Clare (Cochrane, Canada), Ian Gibbons (Calgary, Canada), Daniel Ward (Maineville, Ohio) and Allister Davey (Didsbury, Canada).
