ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,280, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Northwestern University (Evanston, Ill.).

"Insulin like growth factor binding protein bioactive peptide fragments" was invented by Joseph R. Moskal (Evanston, Ill.) and Jeffrey S. Burgdorf (Evanston, Ill.).
