ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,373,945, issued on July 29, was assigned to Northwestern University (Evanston, Ill.).

"Method and system to predict RF heating of medical implants" was invented by Laleh Golestani Rad (Wilmette, Ill.), Behzad Elahi (Chicago) and Jasmine Christina Vu (Evanston, Ill.).
