ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,451,925, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Nokia Technologies Oy (Espoo, Finland).
"Reception of chirp signals" was invented by Berthold Panzner (Holzkirchen, Germany) and Wolfgang Zirwas (Munich).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various example embodiments relate to reception of chirp signals. A receiver may receive a signal including at least one chirp spread spectrum waveform. The receiver determines whether the signal includes overlapping chirp waveforms. A decoding method may be selected accordingly. Apparatuses, methods, and computer programs are disclosed."
The patent was filed on Dec. 23, 2021, under Application No. 18/271,502.
