ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,477,297, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Nokia Technologies Oy (Espoo, Finland).

"Sound field related rendering" was invented by Juha Vilkamo (Helsinki), Koray Ozcan (Hampshire, Great Britain) and Mikko-Ville Laitinen (Espoo, Finland).
