US Patent Issued to Nokia Technologies on March 11 for "Conditional display of object characteristics" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,250,451, issued on March 11, was assigned to Nokia Technologies Oy (Espoo, Finland).

"Conditional display of object characteristics" was invented by Yu Chen (Shanghai) and Wenyi Xu (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus comprising means for receiving information indicative of a relative placement of an object and a camera; determining, in dependence on the information, whether a condition associated with relative placement of the object and the camera is satisfied; and causing display of an indication of at least one detected characteristic of the object if the condition is satisfied."
