US Patent Issued to Nokia Solutions and Networks on Jan. 13 for "Beam configuration optimization" (Indian, French Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,526,031, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy (Espoo, Finland).

"Beam configuration optimization" was invented by Lorenzo Maggi (Massy, France), Suresh Kalyanasundaram (Bangalore, India) and Deepak Kumar Nayak (Bangalore, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Beam configuration optimization is disclosed. A network node device may determine a grid of beams. The grid of beams is determined to maximize a fairness function of an estimated received power of at least two of the beams of the grid of beams that are optimal for each client device of a plurality of client devices."
