ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,287,395, issued on April 29, was assigned to Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy (Espoo, Finland).

"Ris-based enhanced positioning" was invented by Muhammad Tayyab (Oulu, Finland).
