ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,461, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Nitto Inc. (Teaneck, N.J.) and Nitto Denko Corp. (Ibaraki, Japan).
"Moisture barrier material" was invented by Derek Jorgensen (Lakewood, N.J.) and Chad Joldersma (Lakewood, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A moisture barrier material including a carrier, an adhesive layer formed on at least one surface of the carrier, and a release treated liner, wherein the moisture barrier material has a non-planar shape."
The patent was filed on May 23, 2017, under Application No. 16/303,921.
