ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,374,702, issued on July 29, was assigned to NISSAN NORTH AMERICA INC. (Franklin, Tenn.).

"Bipolar plate for fuel cell stack" was invented by Mohammed Hussain Abdul Jabbar (Novi, Mich.) and Sandeep Patil (Farmington Hills, Mich.).
