"Image processing method, image processing device, and program" was invented by Mariko Hirokawa (Yokohami, Japan) and Yasushi Tanabe (Fujisawa, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A processor acquires a fundus image, generates a choroidal vascular image from the fundus image, and detects a watershed of a choroidal vascular network in the choroidal vascular image."
