ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,368, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to NIDO BIOSCIENCES INC. (Cambridge, Mass.).
"Indole compounds as androgen receptor modulators" was invented by Bakary-Barry Toure (Weston, Mass.), Mark Andrew Gallop (San Francisco) and Paul Andrew Barsanti (Walnut Creek, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are indole compounds that bind to BF3 of an androgen receptor (AR), which can modulate the AR for the treatment of Kennedy's disease."
The patent was filed on Feb. 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/172,690.
