ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,426,620, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to NICOVENTURES TRADING Ltd. (London).
"Ground tobacco composition" was invented by Helena Digard (London), Marina Sintyureva (London), Francis Cheung (London) and Geoff Foss-Smith (London).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments described herein include a ground tobacco composition, wherein at least 90% by weight of the tobacco in the composition has a particle size in the range of about 200 micro metre to about 5 mm."
The patent was filed on June 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/339,527.
