ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,811, issued on May 20, was assigned to NIBCO Inc. (Elkhart, Ind.).
"Water sediment filter assembly" was invented by Christopher W. Mason (Granger, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A water sediment filter assembly includes a screen member and a drain port which permits the removal of collected debris. The water sediment filter assembly includes a valve member which can be moved to different positions to permit the draining of collected sediment through the drain port."
The patent was filed on Feb. 3, 2022, under Application No. 17/592,034.
