ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,484,140, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Neutron Therapeutics LLC (Danvers, Mass.).

"Compact motor-driven insulated electrostatic particle accelerator" was invented by William H. Park Jr. (Marblehead, Mass.), Theodore H. Smick (Gloucester, Mass.), Geoffrey Ryding (Manchester, Mass.) and Ronald Horner (Boxborough, Mass.).
