"Cloud packet tap" was invented by Oleg Murat Smolsky (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Vishwanath U. Shenoy (Bengaluru, India), Krishna Narayanaswamy (Saratoga, Calif.) and Piyush Patel (San Jose, Calif.).
