US Patent Issued to NEC on Oct. 21 for "HSP70-derived peptide, pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing cancer using same, immunity inducer, and method for producing antigen presenting cell" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,413, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to NEC Corp. (Tokyo).

"HSP70-derived peptide, pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing cancer using same, immunity inducer, and method for producing antigen presenting cell" was invented by Tomoya Miyakawa (Tokyo), Masaaki Oka (Yamaguchi, Japan), Shoichi Hazama (Yamaguchi, Japan), Koji Tamada (Yamaguchi, Japan) and Keiko Udaka (Kochi, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a peptide containing 8 or more consecutive amino acid residues in an amino acid sequence of any of SEQ ID NOS: 1 to 15 and consisting of 11 or less amino acid residues."
