ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,348,464, issued on July 1, was assigned to NCR Voyix Corp. (Atlanta).
"Service assistance and integration" was invented by Yehoshua Zvi Licht (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Joseph Arnold White (Encinitas, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An assistance integrator provides a front-end interface to an enterprise's backend services available to customers. The assistance integrator translates between automated chat conversations with the customers that engage the enterprise over messaging platforms for initiating actions with the backend services during those conversations."
