ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,384,682, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to National University of Singapore (Singapore).
"Method for producing graphene oxide" was invented by Mariana Caldeira Ferraz Da Costa (Singapore), Valeria Spolon Marangoni (Singapore) and Antonio Helio de Castro Neto (Singapore).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein is a method for preparing graphene-oxide, the method including contacting graphene and at least one oxidant in a solution including at least one acid solvent thereby forming graphene-oxide."
