US Patent Issued to National Tsing Hua University on Oct. 7 for "Triboelectric nanosensor and gait measurement method" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,433,365, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to National Tsing Hua University (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Triboelectric nanosensor and gait measurement method" was invented by Zong-Hong Lin (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Cheng Yeh (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Po-Han Wei (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and Fu-Cheng Kao (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A triboelectric nanosensor includes an elastic body, a liquid metal and a wire.
