ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,305,213, issued on May 20, was assigned to National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia LLC (Albuquerque, N.M.).

"High gravity, fed-batch ionic liquid based process for deconstructing biomass" was invented by Feng Xu (Albany, Calif.), Blake Simmons (San Francisco) and Seema Singh (Clarksburg, Md.).
