ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,305,606, issued on May 20, was assigned to NATIONAL TAIWAN OCEAN UNIVERSITY (Keelung, Taiwan).

"Wave-driven power generation device of converting gravity work" was invented by Jung-Chang Wang (Keelung, Taiwan), Cheng-Yung Fu (Keelung, Taiwan) and Tsan-En Teng (Keelung, Taiwan).
