ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,798, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to NATIONAL FLOORING EQUIPMENT INC. (Minneapolis).

"Floor stripper machine" was invented by Matthew C. Burk (Forest Lake, Minn.) and Cole Willard (Maple Grove, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Employing a microcomputer and a user interface to control the operation of various motors and a linear actuator of a floor stripper improves efficiency and effectiveness while reducing vibration and sound levels during a floor stripping operation."
