US Patent Issued to NantCell on Sept. 30 for "Treatment of immunosuppressed subjects" (California Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,427,184, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to NantCell Inc. (Culver City, Calif.).

"Treatment of immunosuppressed subjects" was invented by Patrick Soon-Shiong (Culver City, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An IL-15 super agonist (IL-15N72D:IL-15RAlphaSU/IgG1Fc; N-803) increases circulating NK cells, effector memory and effector memory RA cells in post-allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients (HCT). Methods of treatment include administration of N-803 to subjects in need of such treatment."

The patent was filed on April 22, 2025, under Application No. 19/186,092.
