ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,552, issued on May 20, was assigned to NantCell Inc. (Culver City, Calif.).

"Treatment of immunosuppressed subjects" was invented by Patrick Soon-Shiong (Culver City, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An IL-15 super agonist (IL-15N72D:IL-15RAlphaSU/IgGIFc; N-803) increases circulating NK cells, effector memory and effector memory RA cells in post-allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients (HCT). Methods of treatment include administration of N-803 to subjects in need of such treatment."

The patent was filed on Aug. 19, 2024, under Application No. 18/808,392.
