ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,812, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to MZ Skin Ltd. (London).
"Face mask" was invented by Maryam Zamani (London).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A phototherapy mask comprising: a backing layer; a translucent layer disposed on the rear surface of the backing layer; and a plurality of light emitters sandwiched between the backing layer; wherein the backing layer and the translucent layer together form a flexible structure that self-supportingly adopts a form that is concave to the rear of the mask."
